This study examines the interplay between globalization and glocalization in shaping the contemporary Halal industry, emphasizing their strategic roles in market expansion, cultural adaptation, and sustainable development. While globalization facilitates cross-border flows of goods, services, and knowledge, glocalization ensures alignment with local cultural, religious, and consumer contexts. The study highlights key benefits such as increased market access and technology transfer, alongside challenges including inequality, environmental concerns, and supply chain risks. It argues that a hybrid approach—integrating global strategies with local responsiveness—is essential for maintaining competitiveness, building consumer trust, and supporting a resilient and inclusive Halal ecosystem.
